How to connect

No code needed. Any Claude plan works: on the Free plan you can add one custom connector.

In Claude on the web or the desktop app

  1. Copy the address

    This is where Claude finds Jonty.

  2. Add it to Claude

    In Claude, go to Customize, then Connectors, and choose Add custom connector. Name it Jonty, paste the address and click Add.

    If Claude asks how people sign in, choose Sign in now, then Register automatically.

  3. Sign in to Jonty

    Click Connect if Claude asks. Sign in to your Jonty account, check that the app asking is Claude, and press Approve.

  4. Switch it on in a chat

    In a chat, click + and then Connectors, and turn Jonty on. Then ask your question.

On a Claude Team or Enterprise plan

An Owner adds Jonty once, under Organization settings, then Connectors. Everyone else finds it under Customize, then Connectors, and clicks Connect to sign in with their own Jonty account.

In Claude Code

Run this command in your terminal. Then type /mcp in Claude Code, pick jonty and sign in.

Answers come from Jonty's data: UK public sector notices and awards, plus EU notices if you've switched on the EU in Settings. Claude also sees your own matches, pipeline and profile, so the answers fit your business.

Claude can also ask Jonty about competitors, sector trends, your wins, the contracts you passed on and what Jonty remembers about your business.

  • It only reads

    Claude can look things up in Jonty, but it can't change anything. It can't move a bid in your pipeline, edit your profile or send anything to a buyer.

  • You approve it

    Before Claude connects, Jonty shows you which app is asking and waits for you to press Approve.

  • You can disconnect any time

    In Jonty, go to Settings, then Your account, then Connected apps.

  • Your Claude settings apply

    What Jonty sends back appears in your Claude chat, so your Claude account's own data settings cover it.

Questions people ask

Do I need to pay for the connector?

No. It comes with every Jonty plan and works during the free trial. When a trial ends, Claude's questions to Jonty stop until you subscribe, and Jonty says so in the chat with a link to your billing page.

Can Claude write or submit a bid through Jonty?

No. The connector only reads. To have Jonty draft a bid and submit it once you approve, use Jonty itself with Bid Manager.

Does it cover EU tenders?

Yes, once you switch on the EU in Settings. Claude then finds EU notices alongside UK ones.

Does it work with ChatGPT or other AI apps?

Yes, if the app lets you add a connector by its address and sign in. Cursor can, and so can ChatGPT on some plans. Use the same address and follow the app's own help, as its menus change often.
